The premise of holistic nutrition is to approach the whole individual. We consider many factors including diet, lifestyle, health history, and symptomatology. We develop action plans based on wellness goals and support clients as the changes to their diet and lifestyle.
Wellness
Wellness has been described as “the constant, conscious pursuit of living life to its fullest potential”. Personal wellness is the pursuit of a healthy, balanced lifestyle. It is striving to live disease free, and to live in an optimal state of health.
Yoga
Yoga is a Sanskrit word that means to unite. So it is often referred to as a practice that unites body, mind and spirit. The physical exercises of yoga, called “asana” are only one of the eight limbs of yoga, according to the Yoga Sutras of Patajali.
